For breakfast I had one piece Sprouted Bread, Thin layer of SunButter, and a drizzle of Raw Honey. After work I grabbed an Ice Vanilla coffee and for lunch I had Chicken Breast, Asparagus, half Sweet Potato, half avocado, lemon, Himalayan Salt and drizzle of olive oil with a little olive tapanade. To satisfy my sweet tooth I had pomegranate seeds. This is my favorite time of the year because I love love love Pomegranates. I was starting to get a little hungry so I had a Protein Shake (almond milk, 1/2 banana, hemp protein, ice).
Around 10pm I realized I had a lot of energy and wanted to go for a run. Got to the gym around 10:30 and power walked/ran under three miles, I was able to raise my mph from the day before and even though I can breathe easily now, my bottom half of my legs are still weak, from never running and being overweight. So even though I wanted to continue running without slowing down every five minute, my shins were beginning to heat up and I knew I needed to relax a little bit.
I’m really amazed at how well my body to really starting to adjust to this new routine even though its taking a pretty long time. My Cystitis did start to act up tonight because of the coffee, and because I always work out in the beginning part of my day, I didn’t realize just how badly the coffee would effect my routine just as much as my cheat meal did.
So I have decided to cut my Starbucks visits down to once a week (my cheat day) so when I have the sudden urge to exercise, I won’t have something holding me back. I’ve been doing good with my diet right now and because I’m eating healthy carbs (especially the sprouted bread) I’ve had less headaches and won’t really be needing that caffeine fix anymore.
